Fall For Your Type (Part 2) - Nexx Chapter

The original "Fall For Your Type" by Drake himself (a demo for Jamie Foxx's official version) is one of my favorite songs of the year. It's one of those songs that was really written and produced to perfection, so ousting the original by remix or cover is pretty much impossible; I especially hate the versions in which any artist used all of the same melodies that Drake did. So, being the creative minds that they are, the boys decided on a sequel in which the acknowledgement that "they always fall for that type" brings them to certain realizations and a new mentality to never make the same mistakes with that type again. And to truly create this new vision, N.C. had their executive producer put his magic touch on the original beat. For me, because this is just an AWESOME continuation of Drake's story, I give it a 10/10 !!

Delay This Alarm - Nexx Chapter

When I heard this song, my first thought was of how much these guys have matured in their individual crafts and as songwriters. Although T is the main singer and Gabi mainly the rapper, they are both versatile artists who can also do the other craft. You see that in this particular song with Gabi's explosive rap flows throughout it, as well as nice vocals on the bridge. It is most definitely one of my favorite Nexx Chapter tracks yet because of how much they put into it.. it always leaves you wanting more.

Forever In Your Eyes - Nexx Chapter

Once again, this feeling is all too familiar. I don't want to spoil the whole storyline for you guys, especially with such a catchy name, but if you've ever been in this situation then this song is about to hit you deep. Isn't that why we all listen to music though? And we all know there's no better feeling then when you can say "I feel like they're literally talking about my exact situation right now!" As twisted as it sounds, we can all agree that it's always more comforting knowing others have endured your pain as well - that you aren't the only one in the world who feels like they just weren't good enough =(
For being spot on though, and taking this track to its full potential, my boys deserve another 10/10 =)

Before We Say Goodbye - Nexx Chapter

For me, since Nexx Chapter began putting out their music they became my favorite artist in the R&B game. This song is a great example of why.. Although there's a lot of rap throughout it, with the combination of their beat selection, beautiful lyrics, and very emotional singing parts, it still feels like an all time favorite R&B song. As always, without trying so hard to make the concept so "unique," which sometimes just complicates it too much, they make it an authentic story line that most of us can relate to. See for yourself !!

Nexx Chapter - N.F.P.B. (2011)

The boys have finally released their highly anticipated mixtape, "N.F.P.B." (Not Feeling Plan B) !! This project is exceptional, and I honestly haven't heard another as consistent in a while. There are big hits coming out all the time, but it seems as if it takes so long for those to happen, and I almost never see those artists follow up with something just as good or better. Nexx Chapter is very spontaneous in their beat selection and flip-flopping between the R&B and Hip-Hop genres, but they do so seamlessly and with a purpose. Having just turned 20 years old, as co-producers for every track they've recorded, and considering they only ever began doing music 2 years ago, Nexx Chapter shows an utmost promising future in the music industry. Although their talent and ability to make such enjoyable music seems so effortless, my boys work extremely hard and surely aspire to become one of the best and most influential artists in the game. Below I've posted the D/L links and lyrics for any of the tracks that weren't leaked before the mixtape was released. Enjoy, and show my boys all the love and support you can to help them blow up!! Remember, at the end of the day they make this music for YOUR entertainment  =)))

What Kind Of Man - Nexx Chapter feat. M-Bass

This is a crazy hot track that shows a more mature N.C. with an amazing rap build-up and clean vocals. I'm absolutely in love with the concept; that's something I think many artists have forgotten the importance of. With a very hot Electro/R&B beat and a sick hook from M-Bass, the boys put their magic touch on to take this song to another level. I could definitely see this banging in a club, and as usual, for me this is a clear 10/10 !!

One Night - Nexx Chapter

First of all, I'm in love with this beat, extremely catchy! Although it's not what Nexx Chapter usually jumps on, it really shows us their understanding of music, which allows them to be creative and do whatever might be "just right" on any type of beat - maybe even for MOST genres. Overall, one of the most chill, fun riding songs I've heard in a while.

Thing For Her - Nexx Chapter feat. Jason Derulo

On a crazy beat, with one of the catchiest Pop/RnB hooks yet by the great Jason Derulo, Nexx Chapter again showed the world that they belong with the heavy weights in current music. The collabo is seamless and maybe has a promising future as a single !!

Draped Up - Nexx Chapter feat. Marka

With this crazy hook already taken care of, Nexx Chapter was able to showcase their Hip-Hop alter ego and have some fun just going in. Great track for the club, gym, and riding with your windows down.. this banger goes H.A.M. !!

As Long As You Love Me - Nexx Chapter

The boys take on a massive challenge in covering an all time classic by the Backstreet Boys. It has the unique Nexx Chapter flavor with crazy hot rap verses and a bangin breakdown that make this new version an even bigger hit. With a lot more story to tell, the duo didn't waste even a second in the song. This is for those who love someone with a past that is hard to forget but wanna make it work :D
