See Through The Rain - Nexx Chapter (Video)

If right now I was given an ultimatum like "I could never listen to a Nexx Chapter song again except for one," I would have to keep this one haha.. mostly because I am going through this situation right now. Nexx Chapter is definitely the best at creating these masterpiece story-lines that relate perfectly to how us fans feel through our specific situations. They also sound amazing in this song! I can tell all of the voice lessons and consistent studio time is allowing them to excel significantly in each of their crafts.. I can't even imagine how good they'll be in a few years from now. The verses are addicting, the hook is stuck in my head, and this truly deserves to be heard by everyone around the world. Most mainstream music today has become very shallow, superficial, and has the minimal amount of lyrics.. these boys are really bringing back the days when listening to the best artists in the game was mesmerizing and the most popular songs were full of substance; and at the same time, I believe that with their distinct sound, and with the combination of rap and vocals in each of their songs, these boys are also changing R&B for the better.. or at least creating a new style of R&B. This is a MUST HAVE, 11/10 !!

Hanging Onto Clouds - Nexx Chapter

Wow this song is awesome! Right from the beginning this crazy beat by BeatAbuza just grabs you, it's extremely catchy and mainstream. I think this is definitely one of the best songs about falling in love that I've heard because usually they are way too simple and extremely repetitive. For once, someone took the idea of falling in love to another level, and I love how they compared falling for someone inevitably and uncontrollably to "hanging onto clouds." It's fun, it's clever, and as always a great story line. Nexx Chapter continues to amaze me, not only with how talented they are, but because they are putting out hit after hit on a weekly basis as unsigned artists. I know a lot of other unsigned/youtube artists as well, and I know that trying to make it in the music industry requires a lot of hard work, money spent without reward, and sacrifices made in order to prioritize music before anything else. I pray that you guys find your success very soon, but don't EVER give up. You boys have my utmost respect, love you guys !!

Actor - Nexx Chapter

First of all, I don't know why this track isn't #1 on radio charts around the world right now.. and I could say the same for older tracks such as "Can't Back Down, Delay This Alarm, Who, and Now Or Never." This is easily a Top 5 N.C. favorite of mine. As usual it is extremely emotionally impacting, and the transitions from singing to rap are as perfect as can be. I'm OBSESSED with the main singer's voice (Tico), and not only did the rapper (Gabi) spit some of his craziest verses yet, but he also killed his singing part towards the end of his second verse. Similar to songs like "Love The Way You Lie," the lyrics written to tell this story are exceptional and truly draws you into the artists' world. As I've been following these guys in every way possible lol, I am noticing more and more people say that Nexx Chapter is one of their favorite groups, or even that they are the best in the R&B game right now, and songs like "Actor" are the reason why. I'm telling you, it's only a matter of time before these guys blow up heavy. 10/10 !!

It's Not Me, It's You - Nexx Chapter

I can honestly say that I cannot stop listening to this song, it's on repeat for like 10 times before I change it (to another Nexx Chapter song of course lol). "It's Not Me, It's You" has inspired me in so many ways. Those words alone not only comforted me about several tragic, past relationships, but it also gave me the strength to let go of any insecurities or anger that I had inside because of any ex. We have all been blinded by love at some point, and many times we're manipulated to believe that WE were the reason why it never worked out. But for both guys and girls, songs like this can change your perspective on all of that, for the better. Music like this, with such substance and so pleasing to the ear, is truly hard to find now a days, and it's unfortunate that most of it never reaches the radio. But for so many out there like me, this music does not go unappreciated and I'm sure we can agree that these talented underground artists, such as Nexx Chapter, deserve to and will have their breakthrough soon enough. 10/10, Love It !!

Listen When U Miss Me - Nexx Chapter

This track kind of caught me off guard considering it's an islandy dancehall type beat. I wasn't sure what to expect since it wasn't the groups usual style, but it turned out amazing! This is a really fun single to listen and dance to. I've already pictured a whole music video they could do for this, I hope that soon enough they get the chance to do so. And as far as I know, I've never heard a song like this. The most similar I can think of is "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" by Soulja Boy, but this is much more emotional, and in my opinion it was written 10 times better. I personally always listen to love songs when I miss someone to bring back memories, but what I really loved about this song was the idea of listening to the actual person your missing (if they were a recording artist) and knowing that their songs were inspired by you <3. I only wish that was my reality.. whoever this song was written for is a lucky girl !!

Lost Our Minds - Nexx Chapter feat. Bari

The first time I heard this song it gave me the chills. For one, the main singer of Nexx Chapter, T, has one of my favorite tones in R&B right now. Even better, Bari Bresalier who also has an amazing voice really helped the song's emotional intensity reach another level. Like any well executed duet, this love song could literally make me cry because of how realistically depressing certain situations in our lives can be. And it's not like they even had to considering this is already a duet, but Gabi, the rapper of Nexx Chapter, then kills his verse later in the song with even more deep thoughts on such a situation. That really is the beauty of Nexx Chapter, you always have the perfect mix of vocals and rap to satisfy all the individuals that prefer the combination, or just one or the other. This song is definitely gonna be stuck in my mind for a long time, and definitely on my playlist forever.

Now Or Never - Nexx Chapter

This is an awesome new single!! It's impactful, inspiring, and extremely real. Even more than Nexx Chapter's track "Dare to Dream," this track really explains their hardships, thoughts about life and the problems or success they've reached up 'til now, and their mindset to always move forward and reach their goal of making it big in the music industry. This is the definitely a song for all the dreamers out there, regardless of what it actually is that you dream of becoming. And in a sense it's also a wake up call to all of those dreamers to never slack, because while you do, there's always someone else out there working harder to get better than you. On this beat, with this concept, I truly don't think anyone else could have made a more enjoyable version than Nexx Chapter's, not to mention that it's soo radio !!

Fall For Your Type (Part 2) - Nexx Chapter

The original "Fall For Your Type" by Drake himself (a demo for Jamie Foxx's official version) is one of my favorite songs of the year. It's one of those songs that was really written and produced to perfection, so ousting the original by remix or cover is pretty much impossible; I especially hate the versions in which any artist used all of the same melodies that Drake did. So, being the creative minds that they are, the boys decided on a sequel in which the acknowledgement that "they always fall for that type" brings them to certain realizations and a new mentality to never make the same mistakes with that type again. And to truly create this new vision, N.C. had their executive producer put his magic touch on the original beat. For me, because this is just an AWESOME continuation of Drake's story, I give it a 10/10 !!

Delay This Alarm - Nexx Chapter

When I heard this song, my first thought was of how much these guys have matured in their individual crafts and as songwriters. Although T is the main singer and Gabi mainly the rapper, they are both versatile artists who can also do the other craft. You see that in this particular song with Gabi's explosive rap flows throughout it, as well as nice vocals on the bridge. It is most definitely one of my favorite Nexx Chapter tracks yet because of how much they put into it.. it always leaves you wanting more.

Forever In Your Eyes - Nexx Chapter

Once again, this feeling is all too familiar. I don't want to spoil the whole storyline for you guys, especially with such a catchy name, but if you've ever been in this situation then this song is about to hit you deep. Isn't that why we all listen to music though? And we all know there's no better feeling then when you can say "I feel like they're literally talking about my exact situation right now!" As twisted as it sounds, we can all agree that it's always more comforting knowing others have endured your pain as well - that you aren't the only one in the world who feels like they just weren't good enough =(
For being spot on though, and taking this track to its full potential, my boys deserve another 10/10 =)
